Man United 3 Porto 1
Manchester united has secured a win in the pre-season match against the Portuguese club Porto.

The match proved to be the hardest of the pre-season’s as United have to work extra hard to win the match. Scholes scored the first goal from Carrick’s corner before Rooney added another nail to Porto’s coffin. Solskjaer scored the late goal in the second half to ensure united win.

Despite winning the match in Amsterdam arena, Sir Alex Ferguson is very worried about losing his main player, Wayne Rooney and Paul Scholes at the start of the premiership season.

Both of the United stars were red carded for dirty challenge.

United: Van der Sar (Foster, 60), Bardsley, O’Shea (Simpson, 59), Brown, Evra, Park (Fletcher, 73), Carrick (Martin, 77), Scholes, Giggs (Richardson, 67), Rooney, Solskjaer.

Subs not used: D. Jones, Rossi, Miller.
