There has been a rumours circulating the net lately about United trying to get Jermain Defoe's signiture.

It is just a false rumours after all because United today has denied any interest in having Defoe as a striker.

SAF today has denied any interest towards the England and Tottenham striker and i personally thinks that he is not an ideal replacements for Ruud Van Nistelrooy.

SAF also has earlier stated that he wanted Alan Smith to play his role as a striker again and I think Smudge is better than Defoe.
