Giggs: United Blend Strenghtened United
RYAN Giggs believes Manchester United have the right blend of youth and experience in their bid to land the Barclays Premiership title.

The 33-year-old's career was celebrated by the Football Writers' Association (FWA) in London last night but the Wales winger continues to look ahead and is determined to add to his eight league titles.

"It's definitely got the potential to be a very good team," said Giggs of Sir Alex Ferguson's current side.

"We've got a mixture of youth and experience, we're going well but we've got to carry on. We're playing the right way.

"The manager has been there as have some of the players, that's key to helping the other players along."

The winger, Paul Scholes and Gary Neville were all championship winners in 2003 and the veterans have been joined this season by the on-loan 35-year-old Henrik Larsson.

With Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo bringing youth to the squad United are looking to prevent Chelsea sealing a hat-trick of titles.

Ronaldo, in particular, has impressed this season and is second to only Didier Drogba in the race to be the Premiership's leading goalscorer.
