Charlton 0 Manchester United 3
Manchester United was proven to be too strong for an opposition like Charlton after the Red Devils emerge victorious in a English Premier League mid week match.

After a dissapointing first half, Manchester United, who loses two of their key player, Wayne Rooney and Paul Scholes, manage to score three goals thanks to Darren Fletcher, Louis Saha and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

It was Michael Carrick first game in the premiership and (as expected) Cristiano Ronaldo was booed by the opposition fans throughout the game but he manage to handle the situation and almost put his name on the score sheet after his fierce shot hit the cross bar.

Manchester United secured their top of the league after Chelsea was beaten by M'brough.

Manchester United For The Title!
Sorry guys, Its been a while since my last post. It seems that i can't find the time to post anything. But, I have a good news for all of you (like you don't know it already), Manchester United was marching into a victory last week after a superb performance against Fulham.

It was already 4-0 in the first 20 minutes thanks 20 minutes thanks to strikes from Louis Saha, Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo and an own goal from Cottagers' defender Ian Pearce. This should (and would) send a message for Chelsea that United's are still in the game despite the "slow start" in the transfer activity.

For United fans, dont worry. Despite the slow start in the transfer activity, United are trying to get Owen Hargreaves from Bayer Munich, another world class player at Old Trafford. If the deal is on, all you rivals better be scared!

United's duo receive 3 match ban
After the dismissal against Porto in Holland earlier this month, Manchester United duo, Wayne Rooney and Paul Scholes will receive a three match ban from the FA panel.

Former United stars Frank Stapleton and Paddy Crerand slammed the verdict.Ex-striker Stapleton said: "If United now lose a couple of those three games this will become very relevant.

"Rooney should tell the FA he does not expect to be treated like this over a friendly game that took place abroad. He has to make his feelings known."

And 1968 European Cup legend Crerand added: "I feel so angry - it is an absolute disgrace."There is one rule for United and another rule for everyone else."It will have a tremendous impact on the team who will now be missing two world-class players.

"United have a strong squad but not a lot of Paul Scholes' or Wayne Rooneys."I bet Wayne is raging about this - and the manager will be raging."How can you keep a cool head when such an injustice has been done."

Owen Hargreaves ready for premiership
Manchester United target, Owen Hargreaves says that he is ready and willing to play in the premiership before the transfer window closes

Owen Hargreaves, 25, said: "I said in the past it would be a great opportunity to play here but so far it hasn't worked out. "There's not much more to say on the topic except I would love to receive the opportunity.

"I'm 25 and I have a contract at Bayern for the next four years but anything's possible. We've seen that in the past. "The deadline is not until the 31st of August.

"I can't say what will happen between now and then but with the way the World Cup went for me, more English teams have seen what I can offer. "Before I don't think teams had really seen me play on a regular basis.

"I'm at a fantastic club in Bayern Munich. They've won many things in the past. "I have already played 40 games in the Champions League and that's something not every club in England can offer."

Manchester United have been linked with Hargreaves for the past few weeks and many rumours are circulating on the net that Hargreaves is the summer transfer target for Sir Alex Ferguson.

Kuszczak has join United
Manchester United has announced the signing of Polish goalkeeper from West Brom, Thomas Kuszczak.

As part of the deal, West brom will get United’s former England Under-18 keeper Luke Steele and reserve centre-half Paul McShane.

Thomas is the second signings of the summer and now have to compete with United's no.1 Goalkeeper, Edwin Van Der Sar for the number one spot. This should give Van Der Sar a competition to play at his best.

Rooney to Ronaldo: I forgive you
Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney admits that he was very dissapointed with Cristiano Ronaldo because of the Quarter final incident but has already forgiven him.

Rooney was quoted saying; "It's fine now. I spoke to him on the night after the game," said Rooney. "I'm not going to lie, I was disappointed with the way he ran over to the referee.

"But at the end of the day we weren't team-mates that day. We were rivals. I wanted to win, he wanted to win for his country so we have to get on with it and hopefully do well for Manchester United together.

"I think he should have won the young player award at the World Cup but because of the criticism he got it was taken away from him.

"I was disappointed for him, I think everyone at the club was disappointed for him. He had a good tournament and I don't think he should have had it taken away for him because of that."

Rooney: I'm forever United
England wonder kid Wayne Rooney has declared that he want to stay at United for the rest of his career.

People say I could now have my pick of clubs but this is where I want to be," Rooney told the Sunday Mirror. "I want to extend my contract. I don't want to go anywhere else.

"I look at people like Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs and I want to be here as long as they have. This is a big club and no-one I know ever wants to leave."

"I want to win everything - the Premiership, the Champions League and, yes also, the World Cup," he added. "It might not happen, but that's what my aim is. That's the reason I'm in football."

"I don't have any regrets whatsoever about joining United," he said.

"I came here because when I was growing up they were the team that won everything and I believe I can achieve what I want to achieve here.

"There is something that is very special about the club and I want to be part of that for as long as I can."

Thanks Roon!

Carrick to miss opening match
Manchester United new signing, Michael Carrick could miss the season’s opening match against Fulham because of ankle injury.

Carrick, 25 who recently sign for United for a reported fee of 18mil pounds from Spurs, injure himself in a match against Ajax where United won 1-0.

It was bad luck for United. We might lose Rooney and Scholes because of red card, and now Carrick, our new signing.

Pure bad luck but I hope it won’t cost us anything.

Man United 3 Porto 1
Manchester united has secured a win in the pre-season match against the Portuguese club Porto.

The match proved to be the hardest of the pre-season’s as United have to work extra hard to win the match. Scholes scored the first goal from Carrick’s corner before Rooney added another nail to Porto’s coffin. Solskjaer scored the late goal in the second half to ensure united win.

Despite winning the match in Amsterdam arena, Sir Alex Ferguson is very worried about losing his main player, Wayne Rooney and Paul Scholes at the start of the premiership season.

Both of the United stars were red carded for dirty challenge.

United: Van der Sar (Foster, 60), Bardsley, O’Shea (Simpson, 59), Brown, Evra, Park (Fletcher, 73), Carrick (Martin, 77), Scholes, Giggs (Richardson, 67), Rooney, Solskjaer.

25mil plus Ayala for Ronaldo
Ronaldo and some of other players who are back from world cup won’t be joining the squad to Amsterdam Tournament where they will face Ajax, Inter and Porto.

This action has created massive rumors about Ronaldo’s place in United squad and some sources reported that this is because Ronaldo will be sold shortly.

With the rumors and all, there are news that said Valencia has offer Manchester United ₤25 millions plus Roberto Ayala for the Portuguese winger.

Sir Alex Ferguson is a long time admirer of Ayala the Argentine player and Valencia will try to lure United's no7 by offering him plus the cash.

Jaap Stam warned The two Rs
Jaap Stam has warned United's two Rs - Rooney and Ronaldo - that they are not safe in Old Trafford.

Jaap Stam, 34, was there when United won the Champions League trophy back in 1999 and has helped United to win several other trophies but later, he was sold to another club.

He said: “The one thing I learned is you are never sure of your place at United. We won the Champions League and the World Club Championship while I was there.

“So I wasn’t happy with the manner and way they conducted themselves. They showed a total lack of normal decency and respect so I had to leave. In retrospect, I heard that they had seemingly done a deal long before that.”

The Dutch defender, who obviously not happy of the way how United has treated him, has publicly criticized Sir Alex Ferguson of several conducts regarding the transfer deal.

Upon the departure of Van Nistelrooy, there's another Dutch rumoured to fill the predator's spot in the front line.

The striker that im talking about is Dirk Kuyt, the summer transfer target of Rafa Banitez of liverpool. He has a fantastic records in his club and must be looking forwards to play for a bigger club.

Dirk Kuyt, the Holland international striker, is linked with United with several other world cup strikers like Tevez and Torres.

Despite the announcement of Torres that he want to stay in Spain, there are still few top clubs that still looking forward for his signiture, and yesterday there has been rumours that Chelsea is also interested in him.

Meanwhile, Tevez, also a Chelsea target (funny isn't it?), is looking forward to play away from Corinthians because of fans problem.

Nuff said, all of these guys are among the hottest property of world football. Lets see who from the three will be a devil next season!

Gary Neville vs Ronaldo
Gary Neville, a life long red, was angry and upset with Ronaldo relating to his desire to quit Manchester United.

Ronaldo has stated twice during the world cup that he wants to quit United and upon his return to Carrington training ground on monday, he was greeted with smiles and cheers by his team mates.

But not Neville.

Neville was angry because of Ronaldo's disloyalty to the club, but it has nothing to do with his part in the Wayne Rooney incident.

Hehe.. Ronaldo vs Neville showdown. Don't bet on it

United's chart topping hits!
Manchester United players are among the top of the carts of Actim Index. Several United (and ex) players like Ruud Van Nistelrooy, Wayne Rooney, Rio Ferdinand and Evin Van Der Sar are listed as among the best in the premiership.

According to premierleague.com,

"Actim Index is the brand name for the official data of the FA Premier League, The Football League and the Scottish Premier League.

The data is used to produce Actim Stats. Actim Stats are a collection of team, player and match statistics.

They are derived from all the actions that take place during a match, including goals, shots on target, corners, fouls, offsides, passes, tackles, blocks and clearances.

The raw data can be used to generate a wide range of tables and statistics such as player profiles, team and player head to heads and form guides."

From the data taken from last season's matches, Van Der Sar is the top goalkeeper leaving behind Petr Cech and Jens Lehman with 5.68 points

Rio Ferdinand has proven his worth to be world's best defender by chart toping the Actim index of defenders with 6.24 points.

Only Thierry Henry and Frank lamphard have more points than Nistelrooy who is at number two of the striker index with 6.85 points. Van Nistelrooy has been no.1 at the chart several months before Alex Ferguson decided not to use him in the starting eleven.

Meanwhile, Rooney is at no 5 of the striker index with 5.61 points.
